ASUS P5E X38
C2D E6750 3.2ghz

evga 7900GS
Seagate 320GB + Maxtor 250GB

5.8 Vista score.

Can't wait till nVidia stops milking those over priced 8800 and gives us a 8900GS. Hopefully before October 26 (crysis beta).

My mobo supports 45nm CPU so I'm already set.

e6875 is 85 bucks more on newegg for a .33ghz more clock. No thanks. I'd rather get the q6600 for the same price and bump it up to 3.2ghz. I just bumped the fsb on my e6750 to 400 so it runs at 3.2ghz and with a 1600mhz ht bus to the mobo. I could easily pump it up to 500, but I prefer stability.

7900GS. Best card ever. I play all my games at full settings.

Now is the best time to buy man, you should go for it. Shit, I bought 4GB of ram for 112 dollars!

Yea I just heard about the 8800gt yesterday. I can't find any stores that have it yet. It supposedly in between the GTS and GTX in power. It's also 65nm and uses PCI-E 2.0 (which my mobo has).

I won't be upgrading to penyrn, it's the same c2d but with a 45nm die shrink, 2mb more L2 cache and a 1600mhz fsb. I already have my fsb at 1600mhz so it's all good :)
