Well if a person wants to forsake Directx and a lot of program compatibility for some operating system with a pretty UI and pay for a system that costs more for your average pc system then go for it. After all maybe your right that fine new mac will make you just as fine when you buy it. Or maybe just as close minded as the OS's compatibility. I don't really think crashing is really a issue anymore, i experienced about only one unexpected crash on my system since getting it and that was just because i was installing some new hardware and didn't have the latest drivers.

Yeah i think actually most windows crashes are caused because of hardware issues more than the OS bugs. If Microsoft sold windows only on systems they built there probably would be no crashes with them too. I imagine apple is well aware of it too. Kind of a dim light for Steve Jobs to shine under if you ask me. But in the end they get the profits from there computers too. I live in Hollywood in a studio and i get really tired of people boasting about there mac and how awesome it is. I just dont really think its worth arguing with them anymore. Its like God going to a atheist and telling them He is God... there just not gonna listen.

I cranked my Q6600 up to 3.6 and with my WC it gets to about 45 at load, 39 idle.

thats 400x9 at 1.5v

My Q6600 runs at 30C under load at 3.0Ghz, NB at 44 SB at 42. GPUs are at 51/54 loaded. The pressure from the coolant means that it's ASTP is at a lower temperature than the surrounding air, so it conducts and disipates heat better than a single fan could do.
